“Using a single router to broadcast the Internet signal throughout your home is like expecting a single bulb illuminates all rooms”. Therefore, Google has started to present Google WiFi, the router that wants to conquer our homes with one goal: to ensure continuous WiFi coverage and good quality.
The philosophy of Google WiFi is a Wi-Fi expandable system and based on different emission points, i.e. if you have a big house or get good coverage to a certain room, Google recommends installing several points Google WiFi.
Google uses a technology called wireless mesh-WiFi, a kind of smart to distribute the connection points where it is most needed network. Thus, if a point of the house we are seeing Netflix and another by simply reading emails, assign more bandwidth where needed, in this case, where we are enjoying a series or film.
Google says Google WiFi point smoothly covers a house of 140 square meters, while a pack of three of these routers would help ensure good coverage in homes of up to 418 square meters.
These are the basic specifications of Google WiFi:
- Wi-Fi AC1200 2×2 Wave 2
- Quad-core CPU (each up to 710 MHz)
- Wi-Fi mesh technology
- Wi-Fi simultaneous dual-band (2.4GHz / 5GHz) compatible with IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac
- 2 Ethernet router ports. The ports can be configured as WAN or LAN

The app, which will also be called Google WiFi will also allow us to control what gets the connection points, and here exemplified we can pause the Internet of our children when doing homework or evening.
Google Wi-Fi can be booked in the United States from November this year at a price of $129. The three routers pack costs $299.
